The first Android Go phone of the Shawmi brand, Redmi Go, is expected to be launched in the coming days in the Philippines. Prior to launch officially, Shawmi Redmi Go Smartphone teaser has been released on Xiaomi’s MiFi Philippines Facebook page. The company’s official retail partner Lazada has also listed Redmi Go with an important specification. It seems that this Android Go smartphone will come with a 5-inch HD display panel, Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and 1 GB RAM.
On the other hand, Xiaomi’s M Filipino Facebook page has released a teaser to launch Radmi Go in the local market. The official teaser has received a glimpse of the handset and has used the #GoSmartDoMore hashtag.
Xiaomi has not yet disclosed anything else about Redmi Go. But the company’s official retailer partner listed this model with specifications. Online listings have revealed that Redmi Go will run on Android 8.1 Orio (GoAdition) and will be made available in Black and Blue colors. However, nothing about the price of the device could be found.
Redmi Go specification
Dual-SIM (4G LTE) will run on Radmi Go Android 8.1 Orio (Go Admission). There will be a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display. It will come with 16: 9 aspect ratios. This Android Go smartphone will have 1 GB RAM with Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. Adreno 308 GPU for graphics will be integrated. Inbuilt storage is 8 GB and it is possible to use the MicroSD card up to 128 GB if needed.
Xiaomi has an 8 megapixel camera with F / 2.0 aperture on the rear side. The rear camera comes with the LED flash and it supports the HDR. Redmi Go will have a sensor of 5 megapixels for selfie. It is an F / 2.2 aperture sensor.
Talking about connectivity, Redmi Go has been listed with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS / A-GPS and Micro-USB. Smartphone has dual microphone setup for Noise Cancellation. Its battery is 3,000 mAh and dimensions are 140.4×70.1×8.35 millimeters.
