We all use many apps in our smartphones. People from among you also use Chinese applications such as TikTok, UC Browser and ShareIt. This apps ask for access to your personal data. Did you know how dangerous it might be to access these apps? Specifically, when these applications ask for information that is not required anymore. Information Security firm Arrka Consulting took a research on the matter, which said that China’s digital apps are demanding more personal information than the Indian users.

Data is given to foreign agencies:

It is reported in this report that the information requested by Chinese apps is given to foreign agencies. These apps transfer these information. According to the report, these include Helo, Shareit, TikTok, UC Browser, Vigo Video, Beauty Plus, Club factory Everything, News-Dog, UC news and VMate. Let us tell you that all these apps ask users to access microphone too. Also access to the camera is also sought by many apps. This matter is quite sensitive from the perspective of personal data.
